According to the ''Politics and Government'' section of the constitution<ref name="Lusitan Constitution"></ref>, the Lusitan government is lead by a monarch, with a prime minister elected every fortnight.

New proposals go to the House of Commons, where the citizenry gets to vote and suggest amendments. When the commons agree on a consensus, it goes to the Senate, where the Lords of Lusitania reject the proposal with a valid reason or accept it and send it to the king who then gets to approve it or veto it.
