The [[Acadia|Republic of Acadia]] recognizes KALI's independence, however officially recognizes them as the Kingdom of the Lewis Islands. The dispute over the name led to the [[40 Minute War]]. All citizens of the KALI are [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_non_grata Personae Non Gratae] in Acadia, and all citizens of Acadia are banned from the KALI.
