On August 1st, the Kingdom of Southseasia unilaterally seceded the [[Imperial Federation]]. The decision was made following federal government refusal to grant Southseasia autonomy and rights and plans to send Southseasia an ultimatum. The decision was made by the local government to once again redeclare Southseasian independence. A few days after Southseasia's exit, the majority of other states left the federation in the [[Imperial Federation Secession Crisis]].

Despite of that, the federal government recognized Southseasia’s independence without any oppositions and marked beginning of the Southseasian independence journey. A few days after Southseasia's exit, the majority of other states left the federation in the [[Imperial Federation Secession Crisis]] after a false accusation on [[ComradeSankara]] by then Chancellor.
