'''Kallos''' was a nation in CivMC situated in the Northwest (-,-) quadrant of the map around -750, -3500. It was an oligarchic dictatorship lead by K0mmi. Kallos has characterized itself as a chill nation, and is known for its citizens who like to steal shit.
"Kallos" is a national name inspired by the nation [[Hallow]]. It is pronounced /ˈkeɪ.loʊs/. In the following months after [[KingOfTheMochas]]'s exit from the Jazz Committee, Kallos underwent numerous changes. The former democratic system was stripped and changed to adopt a more oligarchic dictatorship based off of trust. Due to two incidents with [[IMC]] and [[MtS]], Kallos opted to adopt a fully isolationist strategy. In August 2021, Camiseo formally merged with Kallos in order to form a collective state<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/civclassics/comments/oxk43z/treaty_of_indifference/</ref>. Following this, ties were established with a small nation of [[Asahigaoka]] as a result of their friendship with some of the citizens of Camiseo. A few citizens from Kallos went to help out the Asahigaokans with constructing a small simple factory bunker. [[Hockey328]] got suspicious of a few Kallos citizens hitting snitches near Caledonian claims (nearby to where Asahi had settled), and investigated. He encountered ~3 Kallosian's and 1 Asahigaokan. This followed a brief standoff that was eventually resolved diplomatically due to a Coalition intervention.

The [[UDF]] was mobilizing against Kallosian allies for owning illegal vaults and preparing on a retaliation for disabling the [[Crucible|Crucible vault]]. During the time between [[CivClassic]] and [[CivMC]], Kallos remained mostly in tact for a few months, operating as a close knit friend group playing on minor servers such as [[CivRev]], [[CivRedemption|CivRed]] and Hypixel. It was at this time that Kallos reached its peak of encore members, totaling 8. However, during March of 2022, due to internal problems and arguments, Kallos completely dissolved as a state, and the remaining 4 encore members opted to merge with the newly formed [[Rhode Island]].
== The Kallosian rebirth on CivMC ==
On June 29th, nearly 4 months after the collapse, Kallos returned to the world stage when [[K0mmi]], [[Troll Bebek|Troll_bebek]], [[Lasady]] the last 3 Encore members, founded Kallos in the claims of Camiseo. They started the capital city Kallopolis shortly after, and over the course of a few weeks activity gradually grew to a respectable level. In the first week of August 2022, Kallos joined the [[Arsenio Pact]].
