The Industrial Workers of the World is a Union of Communes, mostly located throughout the Napistan continent. The organization is both a defensive treaty and a political entity formed of a variety of communities in solidarity with one another. The Industrial Workers of the World is the name for the highest level of governing and consensus-building, a worldwide alliance across CivRealms for all participating member nations/towns. Power flows bottom-up respectively, from individual to town/colony to commune to the IWW itself.
Its members are referred to as "Wobblies" (plural) or "Wobbly" (singular).
