Ghorrock is a republic in Isolde, with its capital city situated on the coast of Lake Ghorrock.
History
Founding
Upon the initial 3.0 server launch, former 2.0 Senntistenites scouted multiple shards and biomes before establishing a base of operations in the southwestern mountains of Isolde. The next day, they descended from the mountains and established a permanent settlement upon the lake near the center of the map. After some debate, the capital city was named Ghorrock and Seldomshock was elected as the republic's first Doge.
In early September, an unnamed colony in the jungle was established to supply Ghorrock with raw materials and to exert international influence through economic power. This colony was later renamed to Nicea, in honor of it's icy roots.
