Res Pvblica Romana
The SPQR is a nation state governed by the Roman Republic, the nation covers The Republic's existence through several iterations since its refounding after the collapse of the First Roman Republic in Kizantium.
Government Organization
At the head of the government serving as Chief Executive, sole Censor, chief lawgiver, Pontifex Maximus, and Head of State, is the Emperor. The reigning Emperor is Silianat.
Serving underneath the Emperor are appointed Praetors who act as administrators. The current Urban Praetors are Beatlesboy and Mark Antony, and the current Foreign Praetor is XriptideX.
The leading council of the government is the Senate. There are 5 Senators, 3 of whom are appointed by the Emperor, and the other 2 are elected People’s Tribunes who become Libertas Senators responsible for representing the will of the people in the Senate. The current Senators are Mark Antony, Gielnorian, Beatlesboy, Wadefrakers, and Varkanos.
The secondary council of the government is the Concilium Municipium, a body of appointed magistrates, prefects, and other officials of the city.
In addition to the Praetors there are multiple other lesser executives, such as Legates or Prefects, or other appointed positions.

History
Civcraft 1.0
After playing on several different servers, the faction began on Civcraft as a protectorate of Gondolin from its establishment in early January until the end of Civcraft 1.0 in April. Its capital city was called Roma.
Civcraft 2.0: Solis Era
At the start of Civcraft 2.0, SPQR founded Solis as its capital in the Metropolis region. The city achieved a good amount of growth and stability for several months, however in early October the city's fortunes turned for the worse during a period of political turmoil. This resulted in a large splintering of the population. Following the city's abandonment it was heavily griefed, and remains waiting to be restored to its former glory.
