Grundeswald Volkstaat
The Grundeswald Volkstaat is a sovereign nation with territories in both the +,+ and +,-. The former capital was located in the +,- neighbouring Bryn, Aurora and New Leningrad. After some political issues the capital was relocated deep in the +,+ quadrant.

History
Founding
The Grundeswald Volkstaat was founded after the relocation of the Grundeswald Freestate and the following internal power struggle between several factions within GrundesCorp the then corporatocratic rulers. After caving into the demands of the rebellious factions King Ronald Grundeswald stepped down from his position of dictator and seperated GrundesCorp from the state of Grundeswald. Since Mr. Grundeswald owned all the land the new state was built upon it was decided that he would become a ceremonial head of state. An itterem government was set up and elections were held.
First Elections
The first elections were held during the second week of September 2013. After countless revotes it was revealed that there was a hung parliament with both the fascist and communist recieving equal amounts of votes. With inconclusive elections the king dissolved the parliament and installed his son Ronald Grundeswald Jr. to the position of viceroy and MP.
Exodus to Atyos
Outraged by the results of the elections many members of the fascist party left the Volkstaat founding a party in another city. This damaged the small nation and attempts were made to recruit more members.
Terrorist attacks and Brynian harrassment
Not long after Grundeswald suffered terrorist attacks by supposed former citizens, what might have been considered petty griefing was quashed by the fact the attacker admitted to have a dislike for the Grundeswegian leader.
Even though the nation relocated across the map, Bryn was still harassing citizens and causing conflict. Using false accusations of racism and claiming there were ties to terrorist organisations the Brynians sent over third parties to try and entice the Grundeswegians to attack to form a casus belli. It didn't work and no war was initiated.
Further Brynian Harassment and Extortion by MrGerbic
The harassment continued in Atyos and MrGerbic sent out assassins to pearl Killer_Chris and his 'alt' He used this as leverage to extort 150d from Grundeswald.
Grundeswegian expansion and Fascist return
During the time the fascists were gone the Grundeswegians expanded their nation by both creating towns and militarily annexing abandoned cities. After a few weeks Atyos failed and the fascists returned. The fascists realising the importance of solidarity helped build public infrastructure and made up with the communist faction.
Settlements
Awesome manor
Largely autonomous this town features medieval exteriors with 70's interiors (green walls, brown carpet and low ceilings). Known for having a "Fountain of healing."
Drakensberg
An unnamed abandoned town that had seen no activity in months, the Grundeswegians took it upon themselves to annex it, tend to the animals and finish projects that were abandoned.
New Salisbury
New Salisbury is the current capital of Grundeswald, many business operate here such as Delivero couriers and the Grundeswald Multinational Congolomorate. There are various satelite farms that surround the city. The architectural style of the city ranges from Victorian to wooden boxes though it is encouraged to build in a colonial city style similar to that of Rhodesia or other various colonies of the UK.
North Salisbury
A large farming town, host to the North Salisbury Catering Company.
Pumpkinville
A small town inhabited by snowmen, it mainly exports snow and nightmares.
Salisbury
The original capital while mostly abandoned is still claimed by the Grundeswald Volkstaat. It encompasses an abandoned Neutral League city, surrounding farms and a few buildings and shops.
