Tigerstaden
The State of Tigerstaden, also known as Tigerstaden Prime, is a 1000m area surrounding the municipality of Tigerstaden City, a mid-size city located in the (-,+) quadrant, and includes the suburban settlement of Red Village.
Tigerstaden scores 130 on the City Activity Index (CAI), making it the most active city on the server as of April 18th, 2013.
Tigerstaden is the spiritual predecessor of Aytos.
History
It was originally established by Karst1 as a city for the Scandinavian population of the server. Few Scandanavians showed much interest, however some plots were sold and several buildings were established. Among these were Karst's Igloo on North Avenue, the Cookie Store on North East, a wool shop and an LSIF embassy on East, TempestRose's store on South East, Walker Gardens on South (The Complex Company), 0ptixs's apartments on South West and BigSteve's Frontier store on West.
Following Karst1's temporary imprisonment and the inactivity of land owners, Tigerstaden fell into a period of stagnance. More recently, however, the city has undergone a huge growth, temporarily became the permanent base of opperations for several Civcraftian enterprises of all denominations, allowing for the creation of Red Village, a Tigerstaden suburb founded by iMike218.
Both Tigerstaden City and Red Village sustained significant damage after WuTang raids that have left the city at a fraction of it's former population. Slowly the city was restored and new structures built. Red Village however suffered several raids and is abandoned.
Government
Tigerstaden government is a direct, non-partisan parliamentary democracy, where the five elected parliament members pass laws. Additionally, public officers are appointed by the parliament, with duties related to the upkeep of law and records.

Architechture
Notable features of the city include it's unique radial (star-shaped) street plan, as well as it's fully functional canals, designed for fast local transit below the street level. All of Tigerstaden's main roads are made out of sandstone, and lit by glowstone embedded into the street itself, doubling as illumination for the canal level below.
The vast array of structures built in Tigerstaden are representative of many different Architectural styles. The city has Minimalist Modern Apartment towers, Georgianesque Chambers, Nordic Houses and Brutalist Towers.
The Extinction Clan owns large areas of two suburbs, and has a Village-like establishment spread across them designed largely by TheFlyingTurtle.
Walker Enterprise owns most of one of the southern suburbs, which is in a distinct Victorian/Georgian style.
Geography
The State of Tigerstaden is built across a multitude of biomes surrounding Tigerstaden City, including Oceans in the South-East, Taiga to the West, Desert to the South-East, and Forest to the North. Red Village is built in a desert biome to the North-East of the city.
