Description

Founded as one of the first major businesses in Fort Ironside, Riften Corporation specializes in trying to make cheap and affordable apartment style housing for all. Each apartment is made to the highest building standard as well as trying to be as economically feasible as possible.

The meaning behind the logo is that the color purple represents royalty and gold representing luxury which is both found in the apartments made by the Riften Corporation. The swords crossing one another represents the corporations duty to defend its renters at any occasion as renters are the corporations main form of income.

Corporate Assets

Blackbriar Building

The Riften Corporations HQ located in Polaris, a borough of the Commonwealth, called the Blackbriar Building is a two story office complex which houses three offices, a storage room, a board room, and the CEOs office. This building was built as a means of expanding corporate influence throughout the Commonwealth and to allow for more centralized expansion into future boroughs.

The building design itself was contracted out to Baukunst but construction was still done by the the corporation to save money by not contracting out a construction company as well. This meant a slower completion time but the building details itself would be as close to the design without having to deal with other people on the project misplacing materials.

Ironforge Flat

File:/businesses2/ironforgeflatwflagday.png

The only standing apartment complex in operation which offers cheap and affordable housing for those who want a temporary home, a vacation room, or just want to live in the oldest borough in the Commonwealth. It is the oldest withstanding building in Fort Ironside that hasn't been demolished that features a simple but unique design that houses apartments with each room being 4x7. It's like a home away from home where once you stay, you never want to go back from where you came from.

Structure

Ran as a one man business where all building contracting and management is done by Matthew_Cole where each building is properly maintained each day to make sure that no harm has ever come to leasers or anyone else within' the building.

History

Formed in May when the Commonwealth was first starting out, Ironforge Flat was a simple 3 story stone brick, cobble, and brick structure with little to nothing to the buildings namesake but 4 rentable rooms. The building would soon grow to be one of Fort Ironsides oldest building that is still standing on a claim that was the first one to ever be made in the forming of the Commonwealth and Fort Ironside itself. As time progressed, Ironforge Flat started to age with everything going on around it and eventually became one of the few unattractive buildings in the Commonwealth. In August, it began renovations which would use more expensive materials to make the building a beautiful sight to be seen when entering the center of Fort Ironside. It is now a totally different building than it once was with more capacity than it originally had.

This soon lead to a need to expand to another borough with some sort of corporate presence. This meant that the next building had to be centrally located to allow for future expansion into other boroughs. The building would be a two story complex with enough room for offices, a board room, and the CEOs office. It wasn't going to be a huge building because it needed to be designed to be a home. The build would be completed over two whole days with non-stop resource gathering and work. The building of the building itself would require lots of precision due to the complex and non-symettrical design but it would look beautiful once it was completed. Once the building was completed, it allowed for a new corporate presence in the Commonwealth. This being the second building owned by the corporation.
