Description

MACRO Industries is a redstone factory located in Rothbard that is open to the public. You are more than welcome to use the machines inside of the facility to produce products to sell back to the factory or keep what you produced for your own use.

Products and Services

The factory features an obsidian and cobblestone generator, tree harvester (oak only), small automated melon and sugar cane farms, skeleton spawner, sand generator, brewing station, livestock pens, semi-auto wheat farm, auto wheat farm, nethwart farm, and a smelting and crafting area to produce other products from the raw products. At each station, there is a shop chest where you can sell back the products you produced.

History

MACRO Industries was founded on 11/8/12 by thewitlessknower. The origins of MACRO Industries come from 'proto MACRO', a residence thewitlessknower constructed in columbia that had a different machine or farm on each level from bedrock to ground level. MACRO helped dozens of new players get their start in Civcraft and many established players as well. thewitlessknower sold MACRO at auction right before the HCF invasion occurred then again obtained it shortly before the hamster fiasco. MACRO is being rejuvenated in Civcraft 2.0.

Structure

The structure of the MACRO factory is very recognizable. Situated at ground level in Rothbard, it measured 64x64. It was constructed of mostly stone brick, stone slabs, and smooth sandstone, making for a clean design. The floor of the factory was a sutle yet beautiful varying of floor patterns with the three main blocks, each quadrant of the factory having its own design. The roof was constructed of mostly glass, giving it a lot of natural light. Photos of MACRO can be viewed at the following link: http://imgur.com/a/vqkb5 .
