Biography

Outside of Civcraft

Dexmaq's real identity is that of Canadian science fiction and fantasy author, single father and cultural commentator/blogger/vlogger EJ Spurrell, most known for his novel Children of the Halo.

In Civcraft

Dexmaq joined the server in mid-May 2015 during Civcraft 2.0.

He initially wandered around the cities of the minus, minus before settling into a small plot in the SPQR, where he founded a small settlement just north of the city of Carthage called Camp Quirinus, after the early Roman god.

He immediately set to work creating a piece of Civcraft fiction called "The Elder's Cult," and founded TridentCorp, a (currently) one-man operation to oversee a number of different businesses within the Civcraft world.

These businesses include:

  • TridentCorp Media, the media creation division of TridentCorp
  • Dextrier's Fine Goods, open in the Roma Marketplace
