The City of Orion iswas the capital city of the larger State of Orion which includesincluded Sennisten, Etherium, [[Ñ]], and Sandy Shores. It iswas a capitalistic constitutional direct democracy led by a tripartite Executive Council. Laws arewere passed through direct democracy of the citizens and court cases arewere handled by the Justice department. The government also employsemployed citizens to do specific jobs such as, maintenance, managing the market, selling plots, and organizing defense. The Origins of Orion starts in a small anarcho swamp town in [[CivCraft 1.0|Civcraft 1.0]] known as &quot;[[The Fens]]&quot;. Few people visited and few people stayed, however it was the hometown of many of the founding members of Orion including [[seldomshock]], [[pzpzp2]], and [[silverwill]]. The Fens was small town with a atmosphere of fun and creativity. There were fireworks nights on the weekends and many builds constructed during the week. The HCF conflict left The Fens almost unaffected due to the remote location of the town in the northern part of the map. The seclusion of the small village came to an end when [[Extra land]] and the [[City of Fire]] were built nearby. These Cities eventually came to be known as &quot;The Extra Crispy Fens&quot; (due to The City of Fire's tendency to burn down&quot;. This trio brought Itaqi to the server. The cities maintained the alliance through the end of 1.0. With the advent of [[Civcraft 2.0]] the cities sought to find a way to continue the friendship.

The [[UCS]] was created in order to foster a relationship between differing styles of government. With differing view the UCS original members split off with those from Extraland going to [[Carson (Civcraft)|Carson]] and the small remaining group of just Seldomshock and Itaqi staying to make the UCS work. seldomshock and Itaqi created the city of [[Concord]] to be the capital of the UCS. However Concord was not well recieved by the rest of Civcraft. Itaqi went through campaigns to bring more citizens to the UCS before 2.0 went live, however most turned him down saying the city would be in ruins within a few weeks of the server. Eventually the name was switched to Orion due to the comparison of the UCS to a constellation. The first elections were held with seldomshock as President, Itaqi as Vice President, and [[MinisterAtmos]] as minister of foreign affairs. With these new positions a constitution was drafted. The UCS grew with the new members of [[Ulaan Bataar]], [[Eslenti]], [[Keiname]], and [[Atlas]].

[[Belthazor]] was a war hungry player in early Orion. He was the founder of the failed town of Eslenti and an instigator of the [[Ellesmera conflicts]]. Eventually admitting to cheating, he stated that he would be going on one last griefing rampage with his old griefing crew before being banned from the server. He promised not to harm Orion or any other UCS cities. Before he could do so he was pearled by [[kappi forces]]. His chests were filled with the stolen goods of many Orionites. Belthazor lost all standing he still had with those in Orion. He was a primary member of the [[Black Knights]] and his actions in Orion eventually led to the near destruction of the city as a whole.

Orion hashad some of the most impressive buildings in the Minus Minus quadrant. There arewere plenty of buildings worth taking a look at, taking selfies and usies. Here's a list of some of the most notable constructions to see:
