borisian

boris (Borisian_p: ℸ ̣ ⍊⎓⨅∴-ᑑᓭ⎓ ̇/↸⎓) is an ethnic group on CivRealms originating on the eastern coast of the main continent, near CivCorp, and refers to persons, cultures, or countries related to original settlement of boris.

Pre-History

There is controversy regarding the earliest stage at which boris can begin to be identified as such, due to this it is that every instance of groups that has been identified as "borisian" is to be listed under the category of Pre-History of boris.

Kingdom of Ovechads

The earlist proposed stage of the development of a "borisian identity" that has been proposed is that of the Kingdom of Ovechads, founded by Oveja89 in early March 2019 on /pol/ancraft it revolved around the idea of gathering a large group of newfriends and teaching them the mechanics of the server in order to make a large state with a large population. During this time it was that Oveja and iakwai, the current leader of boris, met and became quick friends.

Due to the start of ethnic conflicts, foreign agitation, large scale famine, and bandit incursions at its later stages, the kingdom was unceremoniously dissolved by an Oveja with a rapidly diminshing mental state about a month or two after its foundation, immediately Oveja and his close associaties began going around the city massacring its entire population and burning down every building.

The Provisional Revolutionary State of Hitler Island

Oveja moved on to banditry while iakwai and a group of newfriends that he was able to gather moved to the recently established Hitler Island that supposedly offered protection to all newcomers. Despite the safety offered by the settlement, banditry soon began targetting it. The world quickly turned into anarchy and barbarism, borders were not respected and, except for a handful of larger states, everybody was on their own. Oveja and his associates turned on each other rather quickly and he began to be pursued internationally due to acts of banditry and terrorism, eventually leading him to seek refuge in Hitler Island a few times which led to a few skirmishes within its territory. As some inhabitants, and eventually the leader, turned on Oveja, he decided to target the island and its people. Several battles were fought on its soil, each leaving it more devastated than the last one.

Eventually, Oveja's hideout was targetted by his original pursuers, leaving him with only his inventory and a few hidden caches of gear. The status of some of his former acquaintaces in the leadership of Hitler Island led him to make one last attempt at greatness, couping the government succesfully and declaring himself Fuhrer of the newly declared Provisional Revolutionary State of Hitler Island.
