One of the major issues with the IWW according to the BSR's founders was that it did not have a proper document listing its ideals. The problem was not that these ideals weren't known to the current IWW members, but that they should be written down so that they would be readily available for new friends joining the nation. Additionally, the IWW had progressed so much technologically and in capability that its original structure was no longer viable in supporting a union of modern socialist states. To prevent future crises over the scope and powers of the Borealian Socialist Republic in relation to its communes and members, the Constitution of the Borealian Socialist Republic was written,<ref>https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQp3weBZr_8S_ssayzF_l-WZRLJKNJu5JYQ-ULkXOykZb95x_sxubP1325JfWPfQ1G-EyAP8V3tiwTH/pub</ref> outlining the policies and procedures of the BSR.
