Bergburg was a continuation of the [[Bergburg (CivRev)|state of the same name]] on CivRev.
Bergburg was settled on June 4th, 2022, shortly after the release of MC.
Diplomacy shit the bed on June 10th when an attempt to procure a base to dredge seafloor clay resulted in a border dispute with neighboring communists. A murder on the Grand Duke caused a [[Bergburg-Fempire War|military and diplomatic shitstorm]] that resulted in Zelmisburg abdicating. Cordoba now controls the area as of 2022.

Bergburg was expected to become a leading exporter of the "Three Cs": Clay, Concrete, and Copper.
