The Western Bay People's Party (WBPP) is a political party centered in the Great Western Bay (GWB) within the Imperial Federation. The WBPP started life as a far-left branch off from the Progressive Trade Union (PTU) which advocated for full independence for the GWB. In recent times due to the mass defections from the Progressive Party (PP) the other PTU split off, the party has become more of a broader coalition for independence and democracy. Its economic policies are now more centre-left but the left wing faction remains dominant.
