It covers local news of [[Lambat (CivClassic 2.0)|Lambat]] and select international news. It has so far produced 11 issues (in CivClassic 2.0) and 13in CivMC, bringing to a total 24. In CivClassic, The Lambat Post was originally a state-owned newspaper planned to be released weekly,<ref>The Lambat Post, Issue 2. [https://i.redd.it/b8h752s4blk61.png i.redd.it/b8h752s4blk61.png]</ref> but ended up having sporadic releases due to the editor's other commitments. Issues were posted to the [[CivClassic 2.0|CivClassics]] subreddit but the first issue's post was deleted due to [[Lambat#Hiatus (February 2 - February 13)|Lambat's haitus]].
 
The newspaper was on hiatus from July to September 2021. It had a brief revival on October 12th as an independent, privately-owned newspaper in a new Berliner format. Its last issue was released on the eve of CivClassic 2.0's shutdown. It later returned as a semi-weekly newspaper in CivMC.
