During Devoted 2.0, the SkylandeseSkylandic led by their ruler Pirater united the previously divided lands of Sovia and established a democracy. Using an army of newfriends, Sovia had a rather large population of over 20 people at its peak. Uniting with Arbosia at the end of Devoted 2.0 - Sovia came back during 3.0 and Civclassic respectively. Now lead by Pirater and squareblob, Sovia is one of the most relevant and marvellous nations on the Server. A common misconception is that Sovia is named after the Soviet Union - it was actually named after a butterfly genus. Sovia has a diverse culture, influenced by the many types of people in the group today.
