Istria is the regional capital of Greater Balkania, and the nationwide capital of the National Republic of Balkania.
History
Istria was established on the 30th of November 2015 after the transition from the Independent State of Balkania to the National Republic of Balkania, with the new system being deemed to need a new capital city.
Geography
Istria is located in the southwest of the Greater Balkania region, and has the same hilly, mountainous geography as New Serbia, both being located in the Borealian Hills.
