In the aftermath of the [[War of The Coalition]] bgbba and other Yoahtlan forces were still active in Icenia building infrastructure. While riding the [[Great Overland Railway]] on January 6th, 2020 bgbba was assassinated by Reiko on an alt in a horrible train derailment and prisonpearled for the second time. Up until this point the UDF had remained neutral in the war against NATO, only officially participating in the Coalition War against Ransackistan and minor participation in the Entente-Laconia conflict. However, the assassination of one of the UDF's most prominent leaders and one of the active organizers of the Coalition's infrastructure during the operations against Ransackistan was the final straw. NATO offered to exchange bgbba's pearl for Neotide_, the general of Yoahtl, but bgbba and Yoahtl refused transmitting their official answer: "No" via the subreddit in a bgpost. The UDF voted to declare war on NATO and join Mir and the Entente in the war. From this point forward the Coalition that had formed to fight Ransackistan was underneath a unified military command of both major alliances and Mir. The Coalition affirmed again that the only option remaining for NATO was unconditional surrender or complete destruction.
