It is sometimes considered to be a part of the Greater Anburon Area due to it's proximity to the capital.

Though it may be of the same landmass of Truidence, Upper Truidence is a distinct territory. The lands of upper Truidence are some of the most primordial and ancient lands of CivClassics, with ruins and structures surviving from the very dawn of the server. It was once home to the old nations of Northland and the Ring of Essence, though any notion of these old states is hard to come by. Under the administration of Imperial Truidence, Upper Truidence would become a center of excavation and wood harvesting, with the settlements of Marbhdoire and Surmark being formed.
