* All structures including roads, buildings, and farms MUST BE REINFORCED AS BUILT. (This means no going back to reinforce afterwards). This benefits both the builder and Varathia.

* In the capital city of Olendor, all builds must be approved by filling out and LDRF (Land Development Requisition Form) at the city planning building in the north end of town. The LDRF must include your playername, location of where you would like to build, and what you would like to build.

* Dereliction is the act of transferring ownership of a property. Anyone can put any property (house, shop, farm, or anything else) up for dereliction. To put a property up for dereliction, place an un-reinforced sign on the property you want to derelict. The sign should have “dereliction notice” on the first line, the date the sign was placed on the second, and your name on the third. Once the sign is placed, take a screenshot of the building or plot of land you want to derelict, with the sign in view, and post it to the #dereliction channel in the Varathian discord. Once you’ve done that, the owner of the property has one (1) week to contest the dereliction either in the discord, or in game by removing the dereliction sign. If, after one week, the owner has not contested the dereliction, the ownership of the property will be transferred to whoever put it up for dereliction. The land, and any structures on it, will transfer to the new owner for them to do with as they please, however any items in chest on the property will be collected and put in a secure location, for in the event the original owner ever returns, they can keep their stuff. If a property is put up for dereliction, and has an unknown owner, anyone can claim it as theirs to contest the dereliction, but will be required to prove ownership by breaking a reinforced block on the property, proving that they are in the /nl group the property is reinforced to.

* Assault, defined as dealing more than 3 hearts of damage by punching, while not holding a tool or weapon, is justification to defend yourself. In order to be justified in defending your property, you must give people a warning to leave before taking action.

EX: "Hey, get outta here! This is private land!"

Once a warning has been issued, and the criminal has been given a chance, you are justified to assault the criminal.

* '''You may not chase down people. Once they are off your land, or have given back stolen goods, you must cease attacking them.''' (However you can still report them to the authorities and press charges, if you deem it necessary)

The Empire of Varathia is a centralized nation that rests towards the eastern side of the main continent. Its is located due south from Wheatistan. Varathia houses Civrealms largest active player population, though a census has not been performed and numbers at this time are best guesses. The Empire is ruled by Emperor Aresot (or Biscuit on Discord). Varathians are proud of their local currency, Imperial Credits, as it allows for a deep and productive economy that benefits both the consumer and producer. Varathians can be identified by their echoing chants of "GLORY", as they are legion.

Land Claims

The Varathian Empire spans multiple nations, such as Trinacria and TTLand.

The homeland of the empire, Varathia, occupies most of the grassland south of the great river flowing down the continent, with most of its borders being easily marked by natural landmarks.

At 4500, -4500 you can find Olendor, the capital of the Varathian Empire. Olendor is the home of the Imperial Palace, the Varathian bank, and Jah park.

Laws

Common Sense Laws

  • Common Sense Laws: murder, theft, and deadly assault are all considered crimes in Varathia.
  • Punching someone and dealing any less than 3 hearts of damage, is not considered a crime.

Building Laws

  • All structures including roads, buildings, and farms MUST BE REINFORCED AS BUILT. (This means no going back to reinforce afterwards). This benefits both the builder and Varathia.
  • In the capital city of Olendor, all builds must be approved by filling out and LDRF (Land Development Requisition Form) at the city planning building in the north end of town. The LDRF must include your playername, location of where you would like to build, and what you would like to build.
  • Dereliction is the act of transferring ownership of a property.
