This election saw the first candidacy of Adil, a newfriend who chose to run for his own Better Nyasaland Party. As the sole member of the party he managed to garner an impressive 2 votes. Adil however, was not the only one to gather an impressive number of votes; March saw a 300% increase in the amount of votes for KogasaScreenname and the DNP, who stuck it out until the third round but was unfortunately beaten. This was also probably helped by an extensive, week-long campaign by the DNP leading up to the election, which included a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoCvhtU95Qs campaign video].
