There was once upon a time a Vania named Nahmi. He was a wanderer who had visited almost all lands of the world. He was a good man who lived of the fruits of the forest. But he grew old and tired and he could not travel anymore, so therefore he decided to settle down. It took him many years to find a land where he wanted to settle, but eventually he found one in the west of the world. He took convinced his brother Nakhala to go live there with him. They took their families and travelled for many years until they finally got there. When they arrived they saw a great plain covered in snow. Nakhala was furious and felt cheated. But then Nahmi set his hand in the snow and picked up a fruit from under the snow. He then told Nahkala to taste it, and he did. The fruit, from that day on called Sterå, tasted like a blessing from Agania and filled the hungriest stomache in one bite only. The two brothers and their families now settled there. Word spread of the blessed fruit and many came to settle there aswell, in the land that became known as Tarland.
