Sable City
Sable City is an abandoned, griefed underground city located in the (+,-) quadrant near Lazuli. It was part of the Republic of Lazuli and home to many Lazuli residents before they moved to the capital city. Sable city was founded by kristoff69 File:/cities/se.png
History
After the griefing of rift, Sable Industries, a company formed by The Great & Powerful Trixie and kristoff69, wanted to make a base for its industri and a home for its workers, this lead to the founding of Sable City. The city itself was made by kristoff69.
The city's original function was to make a home for employees and be the main production center for Sable Industries, but when Sable industries fell because of lack of communication between it's founders, the city was claimed by kristoff69, as it was kristoff69 who had made the city.
After the completion of the city kristoff69 was looking for settlers and because of this kristoff69 made pre-made housing with furniture for settlers to move in for free. In order for more people to move to Sable City, a road and railroad was made to Lazuli and with the open portal of Sable City, it was supposed to attract people travilling to Lazuli.
At its height the city of Sable was made part of The Republic of Lazuli. Kristoff69 remained inactive over a long period of time and as result Sable City was lava greifed. When kristoff69 started playing again the city was repaired, but due to the inactivty of the founder, many players left the city. Following another griefing and raiding of Sable City, Sable City became inactive.
Due to the abondenment of Sable City Ioden claimed the city and renamed it Ouroboalis. Ioden and the founder of Sable City, then had a disspute over the city, but a agreement to purchase the city was made by the two parties. The purchase was never completed and Ioden stopped the development of Ouroboalis.
Sable City is currently being restored by kristoff69
Design
The city's floor was fully reinforced due to the fall of Rift. The city was excaveted from a mountain and had along stair up to the main ground. Homes of the city was excavated in to the walls and the materials used was Stone, Wood and Stonebrick. File:/cities/sablemain.png
