Havana Conflict
On the same day as launching their website and winning the DRAMA awards for best new city, they gave a tour of the new town to the then leaders of Communa, including nickyd614. During the tour, the leader of Havana was cut down and pearled.
The RSSR felt they had a loose cannon on their hands and some things transpired on mumble that caused a rift in the relationship between the RSSR and Havana. The problem quickly escalated from there. Nicky, Echonation, and HMars led an attack on Havana pearling ZANETNT. However Gondolin, some ancaps, and personfrommars soon freed him and launched a counter attack. Because other groups like Gondolin felt the pearling was unjust, people like Berge stepped in to protect Havana's people from being pearled. Generally people were not excited about that because they wanted Havana as a scapegoat. Meanwhile, ZaneTNT, the once leader of Havana, turned into one of the most prolific griefers civcraft had ever faced. He severed ties with Havana and his people, even though Communa kept blaming them. He relentlessly attacked Communa and other places like Danzig night after night for some weeks. Zane's second in command, Lugiku followed suit as diplomacy failed to take hold and together they cause a lot of DRO damage, which still exists in places like Aristopolis and Communa to this day. The swastika in Communa was turned into a message board and the attempt in Aris was turned into a melon dispenser.
Ironically, while those fighting against Zane and friends deplored griefing, they leveled Havana and turned it into 'Havana National Park'. The conflict masked the loss of an entire town. There was so much hate flying around the server and Zane was turned into what people wanted him to be, a monster.
