Aristopolis

Aristopolis was one of the first cities built in Civcraft, founded by Jru247. It was badly griefed in the early days and subsequently abandoned. Gondolin later bought the city and rebuilt much of it, making it the population center of the kingdom. Aristopolis is now a public capitalist city with a democratically elected council, and overseen by berge403 as representative of Gondolin. The city has an aggresive stance but is newbie-friendly. It lies in a vanilla region at the western end of a major nether highway, making it a potential trade hub for the -,- quadrant. Aristopolis is surrounded by other Gondolin territories, and is very close to Sky City.

Aristopolis scores a 99 on the City Activity Index (CAI), making it the 5th most active city on the server as of April 18th, 2013.
